Reasons Why Vikings are So Ridiculously Cool

Deadly Warriors

Vikings invented the shield berg, otherwise known as the shield wall. This is nothing new, and even though it was the Romans who made it famous, it actually came from Viking ancestry. Vikings worked side by side with their friends and family, and they went on to conquer tons of countries since. They really are some of the coolest guys on the planet and the history that they have is absolutely incredible.

Berserkers

These guys had their own special warrior class. They wore shirts that were made out of bearskin and they also took mushrooms which made them impervious to pain. Berserkers often organised themselves in units of 12 and they were also named as being shock troops as well. They were hugely influential in large scale groups. Details about these Vikings were first noted at the Battle of Hafrsfjord.

Adventurers

Another point is that Vikings were avid and keen adventurers. They travelled to all corners of the world and they have worked endlessly to try and make sure that everyone hears their tale. This is spectacular to say the least and they were one of the reasons why we have the continents that we have now.

So as you can see, there are so many reasons why Vikings are cool and if you really take the time to learn about them then you will soon see that they have so much to offer in terms of combat ability and even intelligence as well. This is incredible, and they really will go down in history as being one of the best fighting warriors around.
